Convert between JPG, PNG and WebP

The input format is read from your file; you choose the output format. Select images in different formats and convert all of them to the same output type. Pixel dimensions do not change in conversion mode.

JPG does not support transparency. When exporting a transparent PNG or WebP as JPG, you can choose a background color; the default is white. PNG and WebP can retain transparent areas.

What is not retained

The output is a new raster image rather than a complete copy of the original file. Original animations, layers, EXIF metadata and color profiles are not retained. Animated inputs are treated as still images. HEIC, GIF, SVG, PDF and RAW are not accepted: convert the source to a supported format first.

Quick answers before you start.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The application processes files directly in your browser. Images are not sent to a processing server, and downloads are generated on your device.

Is it really free?

Yes. No account or payment is needed to use the tools. Select up to 15 files at a time, up to 25 MiB each. Images above 32 megapixels are rejected. Your device may impose lower limits.

Why does a file sometimes get larger?

An already optimized image can become larger after re-encoding, changing formats or choosing high quality. We show actual output size and change. Try WebP or lower quality, and keep the original.

Do you support HEIC, animation and metadata?

We accept JPG, PNG and WebP. HEIC, GIF, SVG, PDF and RAW are not supported. Output is a re-encoded still image; original animation, layers, EXIF metadata and color profiles are not retained.

Is the 200 KB limit guaranteed?

The tool tries by reducing quality and, when needed, dimensions. It warns you if the target is not reached. Always check the actual size, readability and the receiving website’s requirements.
